Taimi Gorman and Kate Weisel spoke last night at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club. Taimi has a lot of good information about self promotion. Some tips from the presentation:

I had the honor of sitting at the same table with Jo Dereske, Alma Alexander, Laurie Lee Lewis, and several other wonderful people. Jo and Alma are always gracious to share their experiences as commercially successful writers.
Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace came up as part of a question of value of social networking as part of a marketing program. I say YES! to twitter. I don’t think I’m the only one.
