In three days, I picked up and finished Lost Light by Michael Connelly. I read it because it was a NYTBS, says so right on the spine. I’ve been working on the subplot of my own first story so I paid close attention to his subplots.

I finished Treasure Island. The second half of the book was much better than the first.

I just finished Agnes and the Hitman by Jennifer Crusie and Bob Mayer. It is not entirely fair to compare these writers to Janet Evanovich. Janet’s books tend to be almost a light cozy.
